Sir Paul McCartney has announced his engagement to New York socialite and businesswoman Nancy Shevell.
It will be the third marriage for the former Beatle, who is 68.
Sir Paul was married for 29 years to Linda McCartney until her death of cancer in 1998.
He married again in 2002 to Heather Mills. The marriage ended in a high-profile divorce six years later.
Ms Shevell, 51, was married for more than 20 years to American lawyer and political candidate Bruce Blakeman, the BBC reports.
She is a board member of New York's transportation authority and a vice-president of her family business.
The couple have been together for four years.
