There is disquiet about the profits from the FIFA World Cup in South Africa last year and the burden imposed on the country's overwhelmingly poor population.

According to the Economist magazine, FIFA is expected to make a profit of $3.3 billion from the event.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter says that on the whole, the economy of South Africa is benefiting from having hosted the games.

But the Centre of Housing Rights and Evictions says most of the people in South Africa were among the losers.
