A bushfire in Western Australia has burned more than 1000 hectares of land, 60km north of Perth.
However, the ABC reports the fire has now been contained and residents of Muchea who were evacuated, are being escorted back to their homes.
The Fire and Emergency Services Authority has now downgraded the alert level.
