All Whites skipper Ryan Nelsen could find himself playing alongside Ronaldinho and David Beckham at English Premier league football club Blackburn Rovers.
Venky's, the Indian poultry company that bought Rovers last year, has made a move for the Ronaldinho and says it's in talks with the AC Milan playmaker's manager.
Blackburn is offering Ronaldinho a deal worth about £20 million over three years.
"To be precise [it is] 7.6 million euros (£6.5 million) for the first year and about 8.5 million euros (£7.2 million) for the second and third years," Venky's chair Anuradha Desai told BBC Radio.
Ronaldinho, 30, is in his native Brazil after leaving AC Milan's winter training camp in Dubai.
He moved to Milan from Barcelona in 2008, but lost his place in the starting XI after the club signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho last summer.
The club also says it's attempting to sign Beckham, 35, on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The BBC reports Beckham is the subject of much transfer speculation with several Premier league clubs waiting to hear whether LA Galaxy will release the former England captain during the Major League off season.
Blackburn was taken over in November by the Rao family in a deal worth £43 million, when a trust set up by the late former owner Jack Walker sold its 99.9% holding in the club to a newly formed company, Venky's London Ltd.
