Three senior Delhi Commonwealth Games officials have been suspended over financial irregularities during last year's Queen's Baton Relay in London.
An Indian government anti-corruption agency has identified 16 projects connected with the Games where financial irregularities are suspected.
The Games organising committee had set up a panel to look into the irregularities and made the suspensions after the panel delivered its report.
And Games Treasurer Anil Khanna has just resigned after a contract dispute.
Sports Minister M.S. Gill told the Indian parliament there will be a full investigation into the committee's conduct.
The first athletes are due to arrive in Delhi in six weeks. The Games are due to begin on 3 October.
