The Vatican says it is shocked at a raid by Belgian police investigating accusations of child abuse by priests.
The police searched for material at the Catholic church headquarters and other buildings in Belgium on Thursday.
The Vatican expressed indignation at what it said was the violation of the tombs of two cardinals.
