Chinese media are reporting that the US internet giant Google will close its business there in April.
Google has clashed with the Chinese government over what it says were cyberattacks aimed at finding details on Chinese human rights activists.
Earlier this year, Google said it would no longer censor its Chinese search engine as Chinese authorities have required it to do in order to operate in the country.
According to a China Business News report based on unnamed sources, Google will now shut down its Google.cn services on 10 April.
The report says that Google will announce its withdrawal from China possibly as early as Monday.
