Australian police fear missing Melbourne businessman Herman Rockefeller has met with foul play.
Mr Rockefeller, 52, a senior executive at Brierley Investments Ltd in New Zealand for about 14 years, failed to return home from a business trip.
Police are questioning a man and a woman in custody following a raid on a Melbourne townhouse in the suburb of Hadfield on Thursday afternoon. No charges have been laid, the ABC reports.
Police have not revealed how the man, 57, and 41-year-old woman might be linked to the millIonaire, who has not been seen since he left Melbourne airport a week ago.
Detective Senior Sergeant Stuart Bateson says police believe Mr Rockefeller has met with foul play and his family has been told about the development.
