Members of the England cricket team will fly to Abu Dhabi on Thursday before travelling to India to resume their Test tour.
England returned home early from a one-day series in India after the attacks in Mumbai last week.
The England and Wales Cricket Board spent 72 hours evaluating security issues before deciding whether the squad would return for two Test matches.
England's squad, along with nine members of the England Performance Squad, will practise in Abu Dhabi before travelling to India next week, subject to the implementation of security recommendations.
The first Test is scheduled to start in Chennai on 11 December.
