An elderly US woman has died of wounds she suffered after being attacked by one of several wild black bears she had been feeding inside her rural home.

Police said the 85-year-old woman died of multiple injuries after illegally feeding the bears in her home in Montana.
Earlier this week, wildlife wardens trapped two other bears, and euthanised them after they were found to have been routinely fed sunflower seeds and millet by the elderly homeowner.
Wardens have been warning people in the area not to feed bears, as it leads to seeing humans as a source of food and becoming a threat to public safety.
