Police in New South Wales are searching for a man whose wife and children were found shot dead at a rural property.
The bodies of Kim Hunt, 41 and her three children aged 10, 8 and 6, were found at a farmhouse near Lockhart, west of Wagga Wagga on Tuesday.
Police say the children were found inside the house, while Mrs Hunt's body was found on a path at the back.
A large manhunt was launched last night for husband and father Geoff Hunt, 44.
Police are now searching a local dam and waterways after finding an unattended white utility parked near the dam. They said they hold grave fears for Mr Hunt's safety.
The ABC has reported that Mr Hunt is a local farmer while his wife is a well-known nurse and the community is devastated by the tragedy.
