Two prisoners who scaled the roof of a prison in Brisbane came down peacefully after 10 hours on Saturday. They were talked down by police.
Queensland Corrective Services said the men climbed onto the roof of the Brisbane Correctional Centre at Wacol to protest the placement of another inmate in solitary confinement.
"They've come down off the roof. The protest is over," a spokesman said about 10pm (AEST).
AAP reports the two inmates had been on their way back from an oval when they climbed on top of a building just before midday.
Corrective Services said the situation was resolved peacefully.
