Muslim rebels in the Philippines have reportedly attacked a second town in the south of the country as fighting continues in the port city of Zamboanga.

Moro National Liberation Front rebels entered parts of Zamboanga in Mindanao on Monday.

The rebels are reportedly using scores of people as human shields.

A town in Basilan province was also attacked by unidentified rebels on Thursday.
