Police in Australia have called off the search for a couple missing overboard from a cruise ship off the New South Wales coast for two days.
Paul Rossington and Kristen Schroder were reported missing on Thursday morning when the ship docked in Sydney.
CCTV footage showed the couple going overboard on Wednesday night.
An air and sea search has scoured 500 square nautical miles off the Forster coast where the pair went overboard.
The officer in charge, detective superintendent Mark Hutchings, says weather conditions and the health of the couple strengthened rescue hopes but the pair went overboard 48 hours ago.
He says searchers hold out some hope but it is a long time since the incident occurred.
Passing boats have been alerted to watch out for the pair.
