Police in the US state of Kentucky are investigating the death of a toddler shot by her five-year-old brother.
The local coroner says the two-year-old was killed with a rifle given as a birthday gift to the boy last year.
Investigators say the children's mother was at home when the shooting happened.
The gun was kept in a corner and, unknown to the boy's family, had a bullet in it, the BBC reports.
