A group smuggling cocaine, ecstasy and amphetamines from New South Wales to Queensland has been shut down after a lengthy operation.
A police operation that began in 2012, culminated on Tuesday with the arrests of four men after a number of houses and businesses were searched in far north Queensland.
AAP reports a total of 49 people have been arrested since Operation Kilo Saltbush began.
On Monday police arrested a man in Brisbane. Six other men were arrested that day when eight properties in or near Cairns were searched and a ninth in Brisbane.
Drugs, false IDs, mobile phones, computers and drug-related equipment on Monday and Tuesday.
Police say the group was transporting the drugs from NSW to Cairns and Brisbane and distributing them throughout far north Queensland.
