Sixteen miners are trapped underground after a coal mine flooded in northeast China.
Six other miners managed to escaped.
The Xinhua news agency is reporting that rescuers have installed water pumps to try to save those still missing.
Just under 1150 have died in 650 mining accidents in China this year.
