New South Wales police believe oil could have been deliberately poured onto a road in the Royal National Park south of Sydney, causing three cars to crash into trees.
Three cars lost control at a sharp bend on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive at about 11:25pm (AEDT) on Saturday and crashed.
AAP reports the road was closed for more than three hours.
Police believe up to 40 litres of oil was deliberately poured over a 100 metre stretch of the road.
