State media in Iran report a fire at the Imam Khomeini petrochemical complex has killed at least one person and injured a dozen others.

The Fars news agency reported the incident was caused by a gas leak.

The factory in the south-western city of Mahshahr produces oil derivatives.

Fars said the fire has been extinguished and factory operations have not been interrupted.

According to Fars, a local governor said the leak occurred in a factory supply line.
