Quake strikes near Taiwan coast

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the east coast of Taiwan.

The US Geolological Survey the the quake occurred at 5am on Sunday.

The earthquake was 50 kilometres east of the town of Su-ao at a depth of 71 kilometres.
