Underground rail line flooded

9:05 am on 8 June 2012

A section of the London Underground has been flooded after a 100-year-old water main burst.

Two million litres of water came down a ventilation shaft at Stratford.

Passengers on a stranded train on the Cental Line had to walk to safety through a tunnel.

The Central Line is expected to be one of the busiest in London during the Olympics, which open in 50 days.
