Sara Errani of Italy is through to her first grand slam tennis final after upsetting sixth seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia in the women's semi-finals at the French Open in Paris.
Her opponent in the final will be Russian Maria Sharapova, who beat last year's Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova 6-3 6-3.
Sharapova also regained the world No 1 ranking and is the favourite to win.
