The Speaker of the House of Commons in Britain says more MPs are seeking help for alcoholism.
John Bercow also says there might be politicians with other addiction issues because the House reflects wider society.
Last week it emerged that Commons staff are to be told to top up MPs' glasses fewer times at parliamentary receptions to encourage responsible alcohol use.
The move followed a fight in a parliamentary bar in which Scottish MP Eric Joyce attacked other members.
