The Maori Language Commission has announced that a new round of funding for community-based Te Reo Rangatira development projects will open at the end of August.
The government had allocated ten rounds of funding since 2001.
The fund $1.8 million will be open to applications from iwi, hapu, whanau, Maori organisations and individuals from 29 August.
