University focus on Maori culture

The University of Canterbury wants to increase the cultural competency of its graduates.

It's advertising a number of positions to enhance Maori support and to raise awareness of culture across the board.

Assistant Vice Chancellor of Maori Darryn Russell says it is increasingly important that graduates are ready for work and able to deliver their disciplines in any communities.
