The Government has announced it will invest at least $10 million into the Murupara Area School in central Bay of Plenty.
The sum is part of the Government's major school development initiative.
The details are yet to be finalised, but the money will be used to redevelop and extend the Murupara school site, to upgrade facilities and cater to its extended roll.
The Murupara Area School merged with Rangitahi College and re-opened this year, for students from primary to secondary levels.
