Breakers begin tough stretch into playoffs contention

2:18 pm on 23 February 2012

With six games to go before the Australian basketball playoffs, the New Zealand Breakers face a tough stretch of games, with five of the six fixtures against teams in contention for the last four.

It begins tonight against the third-placed Townsville Crocodiles at the North Shore Events Centre. The top of the table Breakers won the first game 88-74 at Vector Arena in November.

Guard Daryl Corletto is wary of the threat from the Crocs, who put in recent wins over Cains and Gold Coast.

Corletto will play his 300th ANBL game before a sellout crowd tonight.
