Players, officials and thousands of cricket fans paid their respects to those who lost their lives on the anniversary of the Canterbury earthquake at Eden Park on Wednesday night.
A minute's silence was held shortly before the men's match began, with 185 young cricketers surrounding the ground to honour to the deceased.
There were also 185 memorial ribbons worn by officials, dignitaries and players.
