Despite not being involved in any of their pre-season, the Hurricanes captain Conrad Smith is a good chance of playing some part in their Super Rugby opener against the Stormers in Cape Town on Sunday morning.
Smith only returned from his extended off-season break 3 weeks ago and while he's trained, he's yet to get onto the playing field.
The inexperienced Hurricanes could certainly do with the 55-test All Black centre on their tour of South Africa.
Smith says him aside, the team has prepared well....
meanwhile the Springbok star winger Bryan Habana is likely to play in the centres against the Hurricanes because of a number of injuries in the Stormers backline.
