Great Britain Rowing looks to have conceded defeat to New Zealand's three-time world champion pair of Eric Murray and Hamish Bond.

The BBC is reporting that Team GB rowing coach Jurgen Grobler is set to overhaul the men's squad ahead of the London Olympics including shifting the pair of Pete Reed and Andrew Triggs Hodge into a four.

Murray and Bond have dominated the event for the last three years, beating Reed and Triggs Hodge 14 times in succession including at the last three world championships.

However Triggs Hodge says no decision has been made yet.

The Great Britain trials take place in March, ahead of the World Cup start in April, with Olympic selection in June.
