In-form Test swing bowler Ben Hilfenhaus will join the Australian one-day squad to replace injured paceman Brett Lee.
Hilfenhaus will join the squad for Friday's match against Sri Lanka in Perth.
Lee will be out of action for four to six weeks after suffering a broken toe in Friday night's Twenty20 loss to India at the MCG, so will likely miss the entire one-day tri-series.
Lee sustained a fracture of his right foot when he was struck by a ball in the last over of his spell.
