A business partner of Tottenham Hotspur bound Ryan Nelsen is confident the All Whites skipper's contract with the English premier league club will be extended beyond the initial six months.
Nelsen is set to join the famous London club, subject to a final clearance, after being released by Blackburn Rovers where he's been since 2005.
His New Zealand-based business partner Hamish Miller says they spoke yesterday about Nelsen's great opportunity with Spurs who're third in the premier league and in line to play in the Champions League.
Nelsen has played only one premier league game in the last nine months as he's been recovering from a knee injury.
