The All Black winger Hosea Gear has been included in the New Zealand sevens side to play in the upcoming round of the IRB series starting on Friday in Wellington.
Gear has made himself available for the Wellington round only, wanting to work with coach Gordon Tietjens to help him prepare for the upcoming Super rugby season.
Tietjens has also included two new caps in his 12 strong squad.
The Wellington 18-year-old Ardie Savea, the younger brother of Hurricane and former New Zealand Sevens player Julian Savea, and Hawke's Bay's Mark Jackman will make their debuts.
