The former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has died at the age of 85.
Paterno coached the Pennsylvania State University football team for 46 years, but late last year was forced out after allegations that Jerry Sandusky, a long-time assistant coach, sexually abused boys, and that school officials tried to cover it up.
Paterno, who had more wins than any other coach in Division I college football history with 409 victories, died of lung cancer.
