The unseeded Ben Mclachlan is into the semi-finals at the New Zealand Tennis Championships in Albany after beating 4th seed Sebastian Lavie in straight sets.
US-based Mclachlan, the top junior player in New Zealand last year, will face top seed Artem Sitak for a place in the final.
7th seed Dan King Turner beat Finn Tearney the unseeded US College player to advance to the semi finals, where he'll play second seed Rubin Statham.
The top two women's seeds Sacha Jones and Emily Fanning had straight set wins to reach the semi-finals.
Jones will now play 7th seed Heidi Stewart and Fanning will play 4th seed Leanne Baker.
