After their capitulation in the first cricket test against Australia the Black Caps have called up another pace bowler, the Northern Districts seamer Brent Arnel going into the second test in Hobart starting on Friday.
New Zealand lost the first test in Brisbane after being skittled for only 150 in their second innings, but coach John Wright says the bowling conditions are likely to be slower in Hobart which brings someone like Arnel into the frame.
Arnel will bring the squad up to the full complement of 14 players when he joins the team today in Brisbane before they fly to Hobart.
