The English rugby union's elite performance director admits he should have given former manager Martin Johnson more support but Rob Andrew insists he won't resign after a shambolic World Cup campaign.
England's campaign was dominated by off-field scandals and lacklustre on-field performances before they lost to France in the quarter-finals.
This led to Johnson's resignation last week and attack coach Brian Smith followed overnight after the Times published a leaked report which portrayed divided squad obsessed with making money.
Andrew says he's shattered and saddened for the game in England because the leaks not a fair reflection on the coaches or the players or the English game.
