Kiwi swimmers out of medals in World Cup

New Zealand swimmers Melissa Ingram and Jessica Maston finished out of the medals on the second day of the FINA World Cup in Singapore.

Ingram finished fifth in the final of the 100m backstroke and sixth in the final of the 400m freestyle, while Maston was seventh in the 400m freestyle.

Both Ingram and Maston will head to Beijing for the next round of the World Cup on 8-9 November where they will be joined by Queensland-based Cantabrian Cameron Simpson.
