Australia's anticipating New Zealand's No.1 goal shoot Irene van Dyk will return to the Silver Ferns lineup in Sunday's series-deciding netball Test in Melbourne.
The 201-Test veteran was left out of the Silver Ferns side for Wednesday's Test in Adelaide with Catherine Latu playing instead.
Australia won 51-44 to level the five-game series at two-all but with the Constellation Cup to be decided, Diamonds goal defence Julie Corletto says the Australians expect van Dyk to return.
Van Dyk says she can't say she enjoyed the experience of sitting out the match but understands why coach Wai Taumaunu felt it was necessary as she tries to build depth in the squad.
Van Dyk says she hasn't been told if she'll playing on Sunday or not.
