The Australian rugby league coach Tim Sheens has resisted the urge to select Greg Inglis for Saturday morning's Four Nations opener against the Kiwis in Warrington.
The Queensland and South Sydney star was named on an extended interchange bench by Sheens Thursday, but while the coaching staff were confident he would get through the game, they're holding him back for the game against England on Sunday week at Wembley.
Wet weather during the week suggests the match could be reduced to a physical contest in the forwards and a precise kicking game.
