The New Zealand rally driver Hayden Paddon has finished third at the Production World Rally Championship in Spain
While Paddon couldn't contest the first day of the three day event because of an electrical fault with his Subaru he won nine of the 12 remaining stages over the next two days.
He and Blenheim based co-driver,John Kennard, incurred a 30 minute penalty for retiring on day one but ended up eighth in the producion championship category after starting 13th on the second day.
The four championship points he has earnt has extended Paddon's unbeatable lead in the production championship to 104 points, 45 points ahead of his nearest rival.
