Kiwis prop pleads guilty to high tackle on Lockyer

The Kiwis prop Russell Packer has pleaded guilty to a high tackle on Australian captain Darren Lockyer in Sunday's rugby league test and will serve a one-match ban.

Packer caught Lockyer, who was playing his first game since smashing his cheekbone, on the chin with his forearm in the opening minute of the side's 42-6 loss and was placed on report by the match referee.

The ban means he'll miss the opening match of the Four Nations in Warrington between the Kangaroos and the Kiwis on Friday week.
