The All Black captain Richie McCaw says he wasn't surprised at all by the outstanding physical battle Argentina gave them in last night's quarter-final at Eden Park.
The All Blacks conceded an early try and struggled to combat the Pumas for the first hour before they scored 2 tries to seal a 30 points to 10 win.
It sets them up fior a semi-final against Australia after they beat defending champions South Africa 11-9.
McCaw knew they had to be patient to grind out a result against Argentina.
