The New Zealand Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis expects big things from swingman Tom Abercrombie in the Australian National Basketball League, which the defending champions start tonight, playing the Blaze on the Gold Coast.
Abercrombie scored 20 points in the Breakers' pre-season tournament win over Townsville in Darwin.
Lemanis says Abercrombie's got better in each of the three yerars he's been with the club but fans shouldn't expect him replicate the three point skills of Kirk Penney, who's now in Spain.
The Breakers play the Hawks in Wollongong on Sunday night with their first home game on October 28th.
