Several new caps feature in the New Zealand Cricket's Test and limited overs squads named today for matches in Zimbabwe next month.
The 15-strong squad for three one day and two Twenty20 matches features 11 players who featured in the World Cup earlier this year, along with B J Watling and three new caps in Central Districts Doug Bracewell, Canterbury's Rob Nicol and Northern Districts Graeme Aldridge.
Bracewell also features in the Test squad for the first time along with Canterbury's Dean Brownlie.
Bowler Kyle Mills is also back in the Test frame not having played a test match since 2009.
Fellow fast bowler Tim Southee has also been included in the Test squad but will have to pass a fitness test on his injured knee before being cleared to tour.
Former Black Caps skipper Dan Vettori, who announced his retirement from the shorter forms of the game earlier this year, is in the Test squad.
Batsman Daniel Flynn aggravated a hip injury at the pre-tour camp and was unavailable for selection.
He will undergo further assessment next week to determine the seriousness of the injury.
