The former Warriors fullback Brent Webb is just two wins away from a third Super League grand final victory after his fine double guided Leeds Rhinos to a nail-biting 34-28 victory over Huddersfield Giants.
Webb crossed twice in the second half while Zak Hardaker helped himself to a hat-trick at the Galpharm Stadium as Leeds weathered a late Giants comeback to book their place in the play-off semi-finals.
Leeds are now at the mercy of League Leader's Shield winners Warrington Wolves, who will choose their semi-final opponents after Sunday's elimination match between defending champions Wigan Warriors and Catalan Dragons.
