The Brisbane Broncos rugby league coach Anthony Griffin has warned his players to expect a backlash from Manly in the final round NRL game in Brisbane on Sunday.
In the buildup to the game it was a torrid week at the NRL judiciary which resulted in the Sea Eagles losing several star players to suspension after the now infamous Brookvale oval brawl in the previous round.
The spiteful clash also claimed winger David Williams (fractured vertebrae) forcing coach Des Hasler to make numerous changes.
Griffin says Manly will be aggressive, hungry and will have an even bigger sting in their tail after the week they've been through.
Tomorrow's game at a sold out Suncorp Stadium has been promoted as Darren Lockyer's farewell to fans in his last official home and away appearance for the club
