New Zealand's Olympic silver medallist Nick Willis has finished second in his 1500m heat at the world athletic champs in South Korea to advance to the semi finals.
Willis ran 3 minutes 39 point 24 seconds well outside his personal best of 3m 31.79s set last month.
The semi finals are on Thursday morning.
