The All Blacks coach Graham Henry says the loss to the Springboks at the weekend decided the fate of several players when it came to annoucning his World Cup squad in Brisbane this afternoon.
The inclusion of Victor Vito at the expense of Liam Messam and the dropping of wingers Hosea Gear and Sitiveni Sivivatu are the major talking points of the 30-strong squad.
Vito missed out on the original tri nations squad and only came in for match against the Springboks at the weekend, playing eleven minutes off the bench.
Henry concedes Messam played himself out of the World Cup squad.
