The world tennis number two Rafael Nadal was taken to three tie-breaker sets by his unseeded countryman Fernando Verdasco this morning before reaching the quarter-finals of the Cincinatti Masters in Ohio.
Three other seeded players Andy Murray, Mardy Fish and Tomas Berdych are also through to the last eight.
